Ylenia Sacco, MSc in International and Diplomatic Sciences, summa cum laude, year 2000. Two Master’s Degrees: Fundraising for healthcare sector in 2013 and Policy and Health Economics in 2015. From 1998 to 2001 she had performing in Germany, at the Muenster Westfaelische Wilhelms-Universitaet, and then in Köln where she got a German MSc in International Politics (year 2001). From 1999 to 2000 she worked as interpreter at Italian Embassy in Bonn. A Political Analyst at N.G.S.P. (Non Governamental Peace Strategies Project) in 2001.
From 2001 to 2014 she worked at CSI-Piemonte (Consortium for Information System). From 2005 to 2014 at the International Projects Directorate, and then at Healthcare Directorate, taking care of several ICT international projects bidding and EU projects start-up and management (eContentPlus, eTen, Interreg, FP7, CIP-ICT-PSP).
She has been managing different international projects initiatives about eHealth as:
- the EC funded project INTERREG IIIB Alcotra OPSA (http://www.opsa.eu/) - TransAlp Observatory for Health Promotion
- the EC funded project Mastermind CIP-ICT-PSP “Management of mental health diSorders Through advancEd technology and seRvices – telehealth for the MIND care in Europe”. It is a Pilot Type A project and she is the project manager of the Piedmont pilot site for ASLTO3 http://mastermind-project.eu/
Since 2012, she was the reference person in the EC EIP (European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing) for CSI-Piemonte, A.Re.S.S. (Regional Agency for Healthcare Services) and the Città della Salute e della Scienza di Torino “Molinette” Hospital.
Ylenia Sacco is currently a member of the Thematic Working Group B3 Integrated Care and she had supported the “Molinette” Hospital of Turin in the participation to the Thematic Working Group A2 Falls Prevention (http://ec.europa.eu/research/innovation-union/index_en.cfm?section=active-healthy-ageing).
